Dear Families, We're excited to announce that on May 30th, the last day of school, our elementary students will participate in Kids' Choice Day-a fun and engaging way to celebrate the end of the school year! Students will get to choose from a variety of exciting activities such as arts and crafts, sports, cooking, gardening, Legos, yoga, dance, and more. The day will be filled with creativity, movement, and laughter! To make this day a success, we are looking for volunteers to help lead and support activities. Students will be grouped by age (K5-2nd and 3rd-5th) and will rotate through two sessions: Session 1: 8:45-9:30 AM Session 2: 9:35-10:20 AM If you're interested in volunteering and spending a fun morning with our RL students, please fill out the form linked below. Volunteers should plan to arrive at school by 8:15 AM on May 30th. If you are interested in helping out remember that we will need a currently background check. Please see the link below. Our 5th graders had a blast at Camp Y-Koda last week! From geocaching adventures to archery, BB guns, and canoeing/kayaking, it was a fun-filled day of outdoor activities and new experiences.

Mr. Frias was a guest panelist at the Inspire WI End of Year Meeting at Lakeland University last week. He shared the successes and tremendous growth our district has seen over the past three years in work-based learning and youth apprenticeship programs, as well as strategies for overcoming barriers in the process. The audience included business owners, district administrators, school counselors, and Sheboygan County students currently finding success in youth apprenticeships. #YouthApprenticeships #RLAdvantage

The high school Video Production class took an inspiring field trip to FifthColor Marketing Agency in Sheboygan Falls! Students got a behind-the-scenes look at careers in videography and experienced the agency’s awesome office perks, think cotton candy machine, golf simulator, and indoor basketball court! They also got hands-on experience during a demo product video shoot and left energized by the creative possibilities that await in the world of media and marketing. #CareerExploration #StudentExperience #VideoProduction #FifthColor #HandsOnLearning

Congratulations to Madelyn Abler on her Athletic Signing Day! The School District of Random Lake is proud to partner with Lakeshore Technical College, Moraine Park Technical College, Milwaukee Area Technical College, UW-Oshkosh, and Lakeland University to expand learning beyond the classroom. These partnerships give our students incredible opportunities to get a head start on their college journey. This year, 78 RLHS students earned a combined 477 college credits through Start College Now and dual credit courses, saving families $85,890 in tuition! ✅ 276 credits from LTC - $41,300 saved ✅ 152 credits from UW-Oshkosh- $37,240 saved ✅ 43 credits from MPTC- $6,450 saved ✅ 6 credits from Lakeland- $900 saved Even more impressive? 93% of our graduating class will earn their diploma with at least one college credit in hand.
