Photos from today’s collaborative project between our 8th Grade Woodworking 2 class and 4th graders using scrap lumber to create centerpieces for next year’s Veterans Day dinner! 🇺🇸
The 4th graders selected one of five project designs, while the 8th graders helped by cutting the wood and drilling any needed holes. Together, students sanded and painted their projects as a team.
Next week, we’ll add the finishing touches with stars and paint pens!

Our seniors spent the day at The Wilderness Hotel to celebrate all they’ve accomplished over the past four years.

The United States Marine Corps Rock Band put on an awesome show for the School District of Random Lake. It was a fun, high-energy experience for our students and staff, and a great way to celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday.
We were also really honored to be the only district in the area chosen for this performance—it means a lot and says a lot about the connection we’ve built. After hosting the Marine Corps Marching Band last year, Random Lake is starting to feel like a regular stop, and we’re all for it.
They opened with “Crazy Train,” and it didn’t take long before the air drums and air guitars were out. Safe to say the crowd was into it right from the start!

Mrs. Thomas’ 8th grade math class recently invited the 5th graders in to help them graph their screen time. It was a simple but really eye-opening way for students to actually see how much time they’re spending on devices.
The 8th graders did a great job stepping up and working with the younger students—explaining, helping, and leading the activity. It was awesome to see that kind of teamwork across grade levels.
Experiences like this are a great reminder that learning doesn’t just happen from a teacher at the front of the room—it happens when students work together, too.

Our 4K–2nd grade students earned an exciting incentive field trip to the Above & Beyond Children's Museum in Sheboygan!
This hands-on experience gave our youngest learners the chance to explore, create, and discover through interactive exhibits designed just for them. From science to imaginative play, it’s the perfect reward for their hard work and positive choices in the classroom.

Random Lake School District Prom 2026!
The junior class hosted a fantastic prom at the Town of Scott Community Center on Saturday, May 2nd! Students enjoyed a night full of fun with dancing to a DJ, snapping memories in the photo booth, playing mini-golf, and creating their own “dirty” (flavored) sodas.
A special thank you to the junior parents for donating delicious snacks that kept everyone energized throughout the evening.
It was truly a wonderful night—great memories were made, and a great time was had by all!

Random Lake FFA members recently took part in the fourth annual Ag Discovery Day—an exciting, hands-on educational event that welcomed more than 1,200 elementary students from Milwaukee Public Schools, West Allis/West Milwaukee, and Wauwatosa school districts.
Designed to help urban youth connect with agriculture, the event featured 30 interactive stations where students explored everything from making maple syrup–themed playdough and fishing for native species to learning about dairy calves, Wisconsin honey, and even the anatomy of soil!
We’re proud to share that seven Random Lake FFA members stepped up as leaders, guiding students through these engaging experiences and helping inspire the next generation of agricultural advocates.

We are currently looking for community members and parents who are willing to volunteer their time to share their talents, interests, hobbies, or careers. This is a great chance to inspire students, broaden their horizons, and help them explore new possibilities for their future.
Whether you can lead a hands-on activity, give a short presentation, or simply talk about your experiences, your involvement can make a big impact.
If you’re interested in participating or would like more information, please fill out the survey below. This will take place in the afternoon. Each session will be around 45 minutes.
