Ms. Kim's Amazing Animals visited our kindergarten classes, and it was truly an unforgettable experience!

Our students had so much fun learning about her incredible animals and discovering fascinating facts about each one. Thank you to Ms. Kim for bringing hands-on learning and excitement into our classrooms!

Before winter break, our students came together for a food drive—and the results were amazing! We donated 524 pounds of food to the Random Lake Area Interfaith Food Pantry.

Our 5th grade student leaders had the opportunity to visit the food pantry and personally deliver the donated items, helping make a difference right here in our community.

As part of a friendly competition, classrooms competed to collect the most items. A big congratulations to Mrs. Amy Theis’ 1st grade class, who won with nearly 100 items donated! Their class will celebrate with a well-earned popcorn party.

Thank you to all students, families, and staff who helped support our neighbors in need. We’re proud of our Random Lake learners for showing such generosity and leadership!

Rainy days and warm weather kept us on the blacktop, but that didn’t stop the fun! First grade took the opportunity to learn a new game called “Everybody’s It Tag.”

It’s simple, active, and the best part — everyone gets to play and be “it”! Smiles, movement, and teamwork made for a great day outside at Random Lake Elementary!

Mr. Frias and Mrs. Rogers, our high school and middle school counselors, recently teamed up to meet with our 8th graders to discuss the elective classes that will be available to them during their freshman year.

Students also had the opportunity to tour parts of the high school and get a glimpse of what lies ahead as they prepare for this exciting transition. It was a great way to help them feel informed, confident, and ready for the next chapter of their educational journey!

Our elementary students made the most of a warm, foggy day, and recess was full of smiles, laughter, and lots of energy last week. Even when the rain started to fall, the fun didn’t stop—kids kept playing, laughing, and enjoying every minute.

It’s a good reminder that sometimes the simplest moments—fresh air, friends, and a little rain—can turn into the best memories.

Our middle school students recently took part in a trust-building and teamwork activity during an assembly.

Through hands-on exercises, students practiced communication, cooperation, and supporting one another—skills that are just as important outside the classroom as they are inside it.

Thanks to our staff for organizing a meaningful experience and to our students for jumping in and working together. Moments like these help strengthen our school community.

This past week, Mr. Epping’s Economics class got a real-world look at running a business. Landon Walters, husband of our high school Social Studies teacher Mrs. Walters, stopped in to talk with students about his experience as a business owner.

Mr. Walters, a graduate of the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, owns and manages The Shipyard Bar in Port Washington. He shared what goes into owning a business, including planning ahead, making long-term decisions, and how the local community plays a big role in pricing and overall business choices.

We appreciate community members like Mr. Walters who are willing to share their time and experiences with our students and help connect classroom learning to real life. Thanks for a great visit!

What a holly-jolly assembly!

During our last week of school before Holiday Break our 3rd–12th grade students were surprised by some special visitors… the Grinch tried to steal Christmas, but Santa saved the day!

American Wilderness Science recently held their 5th annual hunt at The Highlands in Cascade, and it was a great experience for everyone involved.

Students spent the morning learning to shoot clays, and after lunch had the opportunity to harvest pheasants. As part of this class, every student completes hunter safety and is fully certified before taking part in this trip.

This experience was made possible thanks to the Wisconsin Chapter of Safari Club International and the Random Lake Rod and Gun Club.

We’re also grateful for the many adult and student volunteers who helped make the day a success. A special shoutout to high school senior Anabelle B., who had the opportunity to serve as a guide this year with her dog, Tater, working one of the fields.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this memorable day happen!
